Future Students
Welcome to Luther
Congratulations! You’ve just received your offer of admission to Luther!
We’ve created a checklist below to help you rest easy, knowing that you’ve done everything you need to accept your offer and officially become a Luther student.
Part 1
- Log in to Loris
- Go to
- Admissions
- Display Admissions Applications
- [Program Name]
- The offer exists in the same place your application checklist used to be, instead, now you will see the option to accept or decline the offer.
Note that if you change your mind and are no longer planning to attend, please log in and select the option to decline the offer.
To be considered official, academic records must be received in official university envelopes and must be sealed and endorsed by the issuing institution. At most universities, you can request these documents through the Registrar’s Office and verify that it contains the required information (e.g. "degree conferred").
Where to Mail Your Official Transcripts
Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
Wilfrid Laurier University
75 University Avenue West
Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

If the institution is not offering hard copy transcripts at this time, we can also accept transcripts electronically from the institution directly. Should this option be available to you, please request that the electronic transcripts are emailed to gradadmissions@wlu.ca.
A confirmation email, indicating that your conditions have been cleared, will be sent after all documents have been received.
Note: you will need to use your mylaurier.ca email for any future communications with Luther and Laurier.
- Check for your Laurier username in your email inbox from Grad Admissions.
- Go to outlook.office.com
- Enter your username and your temporary password, which is your date of birth in the format MMDDYYYY (if you were born on March 29, 1988, password would be 03291988).
- You’ll be prompted to choose a new password as soon as you log in for the first time.
If are unsure of your username or password or if you need help, please contact ICT Service Desk at support@mylaurier.ca or 519.884.1970 x4357.

After you have accepted the offer to Laurier
- Log onto LORIS
- Find your admission letter, click “Print a copy” at the bottom of your browser window to save a PDF copy.
- Submit this letter along with your application for the study permit or visa.
- Send a copy of your valid permit (and temporary resident visa, if applicable) to the Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies office to confirm their registration no later than the last date of late registration for the term of entry.
