We acknowledge that Martin Luther University College is located on the Haldimand tract, traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishnaabe (Anish-nah-bay) and Haudenosaunee (Hoe-den-no-show-nee) peoples. A more comprehensive land acknowledgement is included in Luther's Faculty Manual.
At Martin Luther University College (formerly Waterloo Lutheran Seminary) we want you to bring your brains and your faith to university. For more than a century, we've educated leaders and followers for the church and the wider world.
In our academic programs – through instruction, reflection and classroom discussion – you’ll continue to develop your faith (if you subscribe to one) or worldview (if you don't hold to a particular religious tradition). You'll have opportunities to learn how to integrate your spirituality into your working life, and respond to the demands of a fast-changing world.
In our school community, you'll meet people who are motivated through their lifelong work to make the world a better place.
We're a small school (about 195 students) with access to a lot of great resources. Our connection with Laurier gives students the chance to pursue research and scholarly interests in a place that fosters academic excellence.
You're more than welcome to visit us at Luther, where spirituality accompanies academic curiosity to inspire lives of meaning and service. Video tour
