Luther mourns the passing of Jeff Harris
It is with deep sadness that Martin Luther University College mourns the loss of Jeff Harris. He passed away peacefully on Dec. 6, 2024.
Jeff impacted the lives of many people as a financial advisor, and served on several boards, including Luther's Board of Governors. He was a valued and respected member of the board who will be remembered for his kindness, good humour and optimisim. Jeff will be deeply missed.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Donna, and two children, Graydon and Lauren. He is also survived by his dear mother, Rev. Judi Harris; siblings, Joy Harris and Keith Harris; sister-in-law, Carol Stewart (Steve); and niece, Kyra Stewart.
For the funeral, Jeff's family encourages everyone to wear something green in honour of his beloved Philadelphia Eagles and his love of golf.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service will take place at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, 29 Westmount Rd S., Waterloo, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the Auditorium. A Masonic service will be held for family and fellow Masons on Saturday, December 14th at 10:00 a.m.
