Bachelor's Degree
Christianity, Interfaith Dialogue and Community Engagement
The Christianity, Interfaith Dialogue and Community Engagement undergraduate program teaches students to think critically about their faith, and the world and their place within it. Our classes specialize in areas like theology, care and counselling, intersectionality and more.
Minor Options
Students enrolled in any Bachelor of Arts programs at Laurier are welcome to take one of the following minors: Christianity, Interfaith Dialogue and Community Engagement; Human Relationships; Judaism; Spirituality and the Arts.
Master's Degrees
Master of Divinity (MDiv)
The Master of Divinity program provides both the theoretical and practical tools necessary to prepare for the rewarding and challenging vocation of service. It is ideal for students preparing for parish, institutional and administrative ministries.
Master of Arts and Theology (MA)
Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy OR Spiritualities & Community Engagement
The Master of Arts and Theology program is designed for students interested in a faith-based, graduate level approach to academic studies in theology with professional work integrating either spiritual care and psychotherapy or community engagement.
Master's Dual Degree
Master of Arts and Master of Divinity (MA-MDiv)
The Master of Arts and Master of Divinity double-degree program is valuable if you are preparing for chaplaincy or congregational ministry, and desire a theological foundation and the coursework necessary to apply for accreditation with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Doctoral Degrees
Human Relationships (PhD)
Students enroled in Human Relationships PhD program will gain professional experience in the fields of pastoral leadership, and spiritual care and psychotherapy through advanced scholarship and a dissertation.
Diplomas and General Studies
Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy (Graduate Diploma)
The Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy program teaches students a unique form of therapy that utilizes spiritual and psychological understandings of healing and growth.
Applied Expressive Arts and Psychotherapy (Graduate Diploma)
The Applied Expressive Arts and Psychotherapy program is intended for practicing professionals who want to expand their knowledge and integrate expressive arts into their existing work.
General Graduate Studies
The General Graduate Studies option allows students to complete five half credit Luther courses without being enrolled in a degree program.
