Dalinda Reese
I received my Master of Arts in Theology, Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy, from Martin Luther University College at Wilfrid Laurier University in June 2021. It should be noted that years of training and practise as a physician in the United States (internal medicine, anesthesia, and integrative medicine) forever colour my questions and thinking even within counselling and spiritual direction. While I remain committed to well-being, I retired from medicine in 2019 and my work is strictly non-medical in nature. A die-hard G*d-wrestler who is also convinced of the sacred in our midst, I continually seek to understand what that means to life’s journey.
I am a member the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and of Spiritual Directors International. Other relevant background includes a Master of Theological Studies (2008, Conrad Grebel University College/University of Waterloo) and a Lev Shomea (“Listening Heart”) Spiritual Direction training program completed in 2010.
Additionally, I have conducted research and offered workshops in forgiveness, and am experienced in group facilitation.
