Yvonne Bomberry
I am currently a PhD candidate in the Social Work program at the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
I received my Master of Social Work degree from McMaster University in 2000, and my Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary in 1997.
Prior to joining Luther, I taught at various universities including Wilfrid Laurier University.
The main focus of my research is with Haudenosaunee women and lateral violence.
I have practised social work in my home community of Six Nations of the Grand River Reserve, and am currently employed in my neighbouring community of Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
