Beth McCutcheon
Adjunct Faculty
I received my PhD in 2019 from the University of St. Michael’s College in the University of Toronto. Previous degrees include ThM and MDiv from Knox College, University of Toronto, and BEd and BSc from Lakehead University.
Prior to embarking upon doctoral studies I was the director of academic programs at Knox College. I administered basic and advanced-degree programs; was a member of the senior leadership team within the college; and represented the Knox faculty on Toronto School of Theology Basic and Advanced Degree Councils.
I am an ordained minister of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. In addition to teaching at Luther, I am a minister (half-time) at Toronto Formosan Presbyterian Church which is a Taiwanese-English congregation. Working in this multi-lingual, intercultural community gives me greater insight into the many dimensions of meaning-making.
