In his teaching, Héctor encourages students to integrate community engagement, social justice, and inter-religious dialogue in their academic and professional careers. Like many scholars, he’s a lifelong learner: Héctor holds a BA in philosophy; master’s degrees in divinity and philosophy; and is currently studying at ICS/Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam, toward a doctorate in philosophy.

John describes himself as a recovering politician. The Oxford-trained scholar was an Ontario cabinet minister — heading five portfolios — while serving as the MPP for the Kitchener Centre riding from 2003-2014.

Nobody can accuse Florence of being an underachiever. In addition to her PhD, she has earned master's degrees in divinity and education policy. A registered psychotherapist working in a local hospital, Florence says she journals in her "spare time." She has written three memoirs, one work of fiction and two children’s books, and raised five children. Did we mention she's busy?

Kristine is true to her Viking roots. Born of Norwegian and Sami stock, she has been the force propelling Luther's program in spiritual care and psychotherapy for more than a decade. Founder of The Delton Glebe Counselling Centre, she has boosted mental health on the individual, school and community levels.
