Luther building COVID protocols
In most cases, Luther's campus follows Laurier's pandemic procedures and protocols outlined at wlu.ca/recovery
However in some cases, Luther's practices, procedures and protocols are specific to Luther. You can find those practices, procedures and protocols on this page which is updated frequently.
Classrooms
- Each course -- whether being taught remotely or in person -- has a designated classroom. Designated classrooms will be available for all students registered in the specific course.
- NOTE: As with Laurier policy, niether eating nor drinking are allowed in classrooms.
Eating and drinking
- The second-floor lounge will not be open to students during the fall term.
- Coffee, tea and boiling water will not be available at Luther so please remember to bring your own beverages.
- Water fountains will be working.
- Feel free to bring a meal or snack to Grace Place, on the main floor, and dine at a table. Or feel free to eat at one of the bars located along the windows on the first and second floors. Of course, weather permitting, pull up a chair on the deck and enjoy lunch there.
- Unfortunately, during the fall term, there will not be a microwave or refrigerator at Luther that students can use. We hope to be able to provide them again starting in the winter term.
