Anne Anderson
Community Pastor, thirdspace_ at Luther; Adjunct Faculty
In addition to serving as community pastor; leading the thirdspace_ alternative worshipping community; and teaching in contextual ministry courses as well as guest lecturing in various courses; I am a candidate in Luther's PhD in Human Relationships program in the field of Pastoral Leadership.
I received my BA in International Development Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2001 and my MDiv from Waterloo Lutheran Seminary (Martin Luther University College) in 2006.
Before joining Luther, I served as co-pastor at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Hamburg, ON (2006-2014).
I have an interest in:
- how emerging faith communities in Canada foster leadership and growth of community
- social issues facing young adults such as mental health and food insecurity and how are faith communities engaging in this work
- hospitality and welcome in faith communities
- interfaith dialogue
- alternative forms of worship and preaching
