Mark Harris
Professor Emeritus
I received my Doctor of Ministry from the University of Toronto and Victoria University in 2008, my MDiv from Wilfrid Laurier University and my BA (Anthropology) from Pennsylvania State University.
Prior to joining Martin Luther University College (formerly Waterloo Lutheran Seminary), I was a parish pastor for 27 years and served in the Office of the Bishop for five years.
I served as Luther's principal-dean from 2015-2020 and retired after my five-year term concluded.
The main focus of my research concerns the manner in which the critically reflective practice of ministry can contribute to heightened understanding and adaptive and transformative practice.
